How to Find Us

The Müritzeum is located within walking distance of Waren’s Old Town and the shores of the Müritz. As one of the transport hubs on the Mecklenburg Lake Plateau, Waren can be reached by various means of transport, including car, bus, rail and bicycle.

Waren’s pedestrian area with its numerous restaurants, cafés and shops begins almost right on the Müritzeum’s doorstep. Just 100 metres away, or about 110 yards, the largest lake located entirely within Germany extends, and racy yachts and large steamboats moor in the nearby town harbour right behind the historical storehouses.
