The tickets offered for purchase at the cash desk are day passes that are valid during the normal business hours of Müritzeum gGmbH. Consumers have no subsequent claim to exchange purchased day passes for combined tickets or to credit them against combined tickets or annual passes.
2.2. Annual passes
Annual passes are valid for one year including the first day of validity. They authorise the person(s) named on the annual pass to visit the Müritzeum during normal opening hours within the period of validity. It is not possible to subsequently change the person(s) named on the pass.
Special events of any kind do not fall within the scope of services provided with annual passes.

3.1. Conclusion of the contract/ Event data
At the Customer’s request, Müritzeum gGmbH will prepare an offer for the conclusion of a contract. The Customer accepts the offer by sending written notice (by post, email or fax). The booking thereby becomes binding. It may be cancelled only in accordance with the following terms.
3.2. Booking confirmation
In principle, group bookings and environmental education events are confirmed in writing. The booking confirmation will be sent at the Customer’s risk to the email address / postal address provided by the Customer, or by fax. If the Customer has not received written confirmation for the requested service, Müritzeum gGmbH is under no obligation to provide the service.
3.3. Cancellations and changes to booked services / Reducing the number of participants
Bookings for services may be cancelled, or changes made to them, free of charge up to seven working days before the agreed date. The date of receipt by Müritzeum gGmbH of the written notice, sent by email/post/fax, determines whether this deadline has been observed.
In the event of a cancellation after the above-mentioned deadline, 100% of the fee in question is payable. If the number of participants is less than the number booked, the Müritzeum reserves the right to invoice the agreed charges for tickets and services.
3.4. Entitlement to services in the event of delays
If a group is delayed on the day of its visit, the Müritzeum can be informed by telephone on +49 3991 633 68 21 (Mon–Fri from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) OR +49 3991 633 68 0 (Mon–Sun from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
If the Customer does not appear at the agreed event date or is delayed by more than 15 minutes, the Customer loses his/her entitlement to the service without any claim to reimbursement of the charge or its crediting to an alternative date. Any outstanding balances remain payable in full.
In the case of shorter delays, Müritzeum gGmbH is entitled to shorten the duration of the booked event accordingly.
Delays to tours of, or introductions to, Müritzeum gGmbH by up to 15 minutes do not entitle the Customer to reduce the agreed charge.

Discounts cannot be applied to combined, reduced or children’s tickets, nor can discounts be combined.
Consumers must check the tickets and the change that they have received immediately after making their purchase. Müritzeum gGmbH will be unable to consider any complaints that are made later.
Value added tax is charged at the applicable rate on the hire of venues. Payment is to be made in advance by the Customer on the premises or by invoice where this has been agreed in writing.
5. Venue rules
By entering the premises or concluding a contract, the Customer agrees to be bound by the venue rules of Müritzeum gGmbH.

7. Final provisions
Müritzeum gGmbH reserves the right to review and amend these T&Cs at any time without giving reasons. Subsequent amendments do not apply to confirmed bookings. Any ancillary agreements or amendments to the contract must be in writing to be effective. This formal requirement may not be overridden orally.
If any provision of this contract should be wholly or partly ineffective, or if any provision should subsequently become legally ineffective, this will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. By way of adaptation, the ineffective provision is to be replaced by such reasonable provision that comes closest in economic terms to what the contracting parties would have agreed if they had considered the ineffectiveness of the provision.
Place of performance and court of jurisdiction is Waren (Müritz).
